School Culture

Transformation

No matter where your school is starting from, Gloetry can help your school along its journey to transform its culture into one of compassion. We can help your school create a holistic learning environment, beneficial for students and teachers alike, where everyone is able to thrive and be in their humanity.

Cultural transformation is where real work turns into real results

School culture transformation is a multi-level process that digs in deep to find the root problems, identifies your organizational strengths, and gives your leaders the tools to align your whole school toward a compassionate culture.

The results? Teachers are resourced with tangible tips and techniques to serve students from diverse backgrounds as whole humans — mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Every educator deserves to feel confident, supported, and capable of delivering the differentiated and compassionate instruction that each of their students need.

Transformation is a Process

Gloetry begins this work with a set of Visioning Workshops conducted with your school administration. This is where your leadership comes together to identify the guiding vision for your school’s compassionate culture.

Visioning Workshops

Gloetry then conducts a cultural audit of your school environment. Audits reveal the level of connectedness of peer-to-peer relationships, student-to-teacher relationships, and students’ overall connection with the institution.

Then, we dig in and get to work. The heart of this work is building a successful Advisory program, and training teachers, school staff, and students in the Healing Circle method. Together, we will work to define the Mission, Vision, and Purpose of your Advisory program, and create a path forward to sustain and grow this work.

Implementation Strategy

The best way to learn about the School Culture Transformation process and how it can help your school is to schedule a free consultation with Karmay. We’ll chat about what you’re observing, what you’d like to see, and how we could work together to achieve your vision.

  • When I met Karmay four years ago, I could not possibly foresee the degree to which she would impact my own life or the way Gloetry would transform the culture of my school. On an individual level, Karmay has helped me rebuild my relationship to sisterhood, find new modes of healing, and invigorate my faith in my own power. On an institutional level, she has provided the gift of circle to my school community. By training students to facilitate circles on their own, she has enabled the community to heal its wounds with a heart-centered approach.
